Activities and attractions for a memorable holiday in Gower

Gower Beaches

Langland - well known for its beach huts and tennis courts, Langland is also a popular surf spot.

Caswell - Ideal for surfing, the beach regularly receives Blue Flag status and is close to the village of Mumbles.

Pwll Du - One of the more remote beaches and is not easily accessible by car. but there are three footpaths leading down to the beach. A secluded spot where the beach is made up of pebbles.

Three Cliffs - The bay takes its name from the three sea cliffs that jut out into the bay. Pennard Pill, a small stream, flows into the sea in the middle of the bay. The beach is an important asset for locals and visitors and routinely qualifies for Blue Flag status.

Oxwich Bay - Its landscape features sand dunes, salt marshes and woodland. It is also a popular spot for swimming and watersports including diving, sailing, water skiing and windsurfing.

Port Eynon - Port Eynon Bay is a very popular beach resort beside the village of Port Eynon and has a selection of shops and cafes.

Rhossili - The Bay curves along an arc running northwards from the village of Rhossili and features the famous landmark "Worms Head".

Llangenith - The beach is now mainly a centre for surfers, and is located at the north end of Rhossili Bay in a fairly isolated locale.

Llanmadoc - Why not take a walk out along the beach at Llanmadoc? At low tide you can even reach the lighthouse at Whitford Point, be careful of those tides though!
